We at Oncology Imaging Systems (OIS) have been supporting Miles4Radiotherapy by taking part in a virtual event to support Action Radiotherapy.
Action Radiotherapy is the only charity dedicated to improving the radiotherapy services across the UK; supporting patients and professionals and promoting the needs of radiotherapy with the government. They raise the profile of radiotherapy as a safe, effective and cost-effective treatment option for treating cancer.
This is why we picked Action Radiotherapy as our charity of the month for October. The team took part in the Miles4Radiotherapy event and racked up an incredible 2455 km or 1525 miles! To celebrate this win for radiotherapy we are also donating £1 for every mile we accumulated along the way to Action Radiotherapy to thank them and support their work further.
