Earlier this month, members of the Oncology Imaging Systems team visited the International Training Studio of one of our highly valued partners, CQ Medical, building on the partnership between the two companies and furthering the team's knowledge and expertise.
Oncology Imaging Systems’ partnership with CQ Medical
Oncology Imaging Systems took on the role of UK & Ireland distributor for CQ Medical, a prominent global leader in patient radiotherapy positioning and healthcare innovations, earlier this year. We are proud of our partnership with the newly combined company, formerly Civco RT and Qfix.
The visit provided a prime opportunity to underscore the significance of the CQ Medical rebrand, following the official unveiling of the company's unified identity at the recent ASTRO Annual Meeting in San Diego. The occasion allowed us to align ourselves more closely with CQ Medical's new brand and reinforced our commitment to delivering their innovative solutions to the UK and Irish markets.
CQ Medical’s training facilities
The training was held at CQ Medical's well-equipped and comprehensive training facilities in Lincolnshire. During the visit, the OIS team had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge of the entire CQ Medical product range; of particular interest and relevance were the Comfort Marker 2.0 Patient Marking System, Alta and TotalRT multipurpose solutions, and the Encompass and Solstice intracranial SRS solutions.
The four-day visit also offered the ideal opportunity for OIS to engage with key CQ Medical education team members. The programme was led by Andrew Darkin (Director of International Education and Training), Luis Madureira (Senior Physicist, Education and Product Development - International) and Tom Swayne (Clinical Specialist, EMEIA). After a successful day at the training studio, employees from both companies enjoyed a relaxing team meal together.
