OIS is pleased to announce that it has become certified to ISO 27001, the world’s best-known standard for information security management systems (ISMS). This award follows our ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certifications.
ISO 27001 and its benefits
IT security, cybersecurity and privacy protection are vital for companies and organisations today. ISO 27001 is the international standard for Information Security Management Systems. The standard specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an information security management system. It is also centred around risk assessment and treatment, which means that the company must first identify and assess risks, and then ensure they are mitigated by using proper controls to protect information and data from corruption or loss.
