Behind the Boxes: Life as a Warehouse Manager at OIS

Having joined Oncology Imaging Systems in June 2022, Michael Brook, affectionately known as Mick among the team, plays a key role as our Warehouse Manager. From ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics to maintaining an organised and efficient warehouse operation, Mick is at the heart of keeping the OIS warehouse running seamlessly.

Delivering perfection one product at a time
As a one-man powerhouse in the OIS warehouse, Mick takes great pride in ensuring every product that leaves our premises meets the highest standards. He carefully inspects each item for imperfections, knocks, or missing components that may have occurred during transport, ensuring customers receive their orders in perfect condition. Known for his excellent attention to detail and impressive speed, Mick keeps quality at the forefront of everything he does - fuelled, of course, by plenty of coffee and his favourite radio stations playing in the background.
Life outside the OIS warehouse
Outside of work, Mick enjoys spending quality time with his sons and grandkids, whether on long walks or cheering for his favourite football team, Chelsea. He’s an avid reader, particularly drawn to biographies, and is looking to reignite his niche interest in Lambrettas, hoping to add another to his collection soon.
Reflecting on his time at OIS, Mick says, “It’s a great company to work for. At my previous job, I was made redundant, and ever since starting at OIS, I’ve had a fantastic time and it’s one of the happiest I’ve been since. So, I’m really happy to be part of the team.”
