Radiotherapy Pre-Treatment Special Interest Group

The Radiotherapy Pre-Treatment Special Interest Group Annual Meeting brings together therapeutic radiographers with a specialist interest in the pre-treatment sector, providing a valuable opportunity to share knowledge, experiences, and peer support.

Now in its third year, the meeting continues to grow, featuring expert speakers from leading NHS Trusts, universities, and professional organisations, alongside interactive sessions and a lively social event to round off the day.

This year's programme will explore key topics including supporting students and apprentices in pre-treatment, methods and processes for palliative planning, pre-treatment staffing models, future directions of pre-treatment, MRI in radiotherapy pre-treatment, and improving the patient experience.

Speakers include clinical experts, Society of Radiographers officers, lecturers, practice educators, students and apprentices, researchers, industry representatives, and patients with lived experience, offering a broad range of perspectives and insights from across the profession.
