See the Difference
The Kodak 2000RT CR Plus System acquires portal localization, verification, and simulation images using computed radiography (CR). This proven technology has been widely used in radiology departments for more than a decade.
This system provides the high-quality therapy images you expect from Kodak. Incredibly simple to use, the system integrates with existing treatment machines and image management systems. Easy installation requires only tabletop space, a power cord and network connection.
All You Need In One Compact Unit
Providing everything you need for therapy imaging in one convenient package, a flexible Kodak 2000RT CR Plus System:
- Supports multiple treatment rooms and simulators at a fraction of the cost of one electronic portal imaging device.
- Fits almost anywhere with a scanner footprint of just 21 x 27 inches (53.3 x 68.6cm).
- Uses the same storage phosphor plate, localization or verification imaging.
- Can be used with virtually any linear accelerator or Cobalt device, regardless of manufacturer or age - without costly treatment machine retrofitting or downtime.
- Aquires images up to 14 x 17 inches (35 x 43cm) - a larger field size than the smaller, fixed size of most electronic portal imagers.
- Displays images on an ultrahigh - definition flat-panel viewing station.
- Includes an archiving solution featuring a combination CD/DVD writer.
Kodak Image Quality and Reliability
The Kodak 2000RT CR Plus System sets a new standard for digital therapy imaging:
- Images are automatically processed prior to appearing on the display. Software algorithms deliver high-contrast portal and simulation images.
- The pixel size of 0.255mm provides excellent image resolution.
- Image review tools enable you to adjust, magnify, or annotate the images.
- The system acquires high-quality IMRT images.
Designed To Enhance Workflow and Productivity
A Kodak 2000RT CR Plus System fits smoothly into your workflow - providing greater convenience, increased productivity, and quality patient care.
- The system can be placed outside the treatment room. Eliminating trips to the darkroom means more time for therapists to spend with patients.
- Wide-latitured response lessends dependence on imaging techniques and may reduce the need for retakes.
- Digital images can be distributed electronically througout the department.
- Installatiion and training takes less than a day
- With only four moving parts, the system requires simple preventive maintenance every 3-4 months and calibration once a year.
Easy Integration With Practice Management Workstations
Kodak 2000RT CR Plus System images conform to DICOM standards. This means that they can be easily printed - or integrated into the image review modules available with most practice management software.
Multiple Printing Options
The Kodak 2000RT CR Plus System provides a choice of methods for obtaining hard copy:
- A laser imager, such as the KOKAK DRYVIEW 8100 or 8700 laser imager, provides an ideal solution for facilities that want to take advantage of the image quality, workflow, and productivity benefits of a KOKAK 2000RT CR Plus System - with or without full implementation of a digital imaging network.
- A standard window-driven printer can be used to produce reference paper prints.
